Colby E. Longley
Colby Longley joined McCorkle, Johnson & McCoy in August 2008 as an associate, and is now partner. Mr. Longley’s practice areas include civil litigation, construction litigation and lien law. Mr. Longley also represents numerous condominium and homeowner associations throughout Coastal Georgia and often gives presentations to such associations and their boards regarding various legal matters. Mr. Longley has been named a Georgia Rising Star by Atlanta Magazine in 2017 and 2018, and selected to Georgia Trend legal elite in 2020.
He is a past president of the Young Lawyers Division of the Savannah Bar. Following his tenure with the Young Lawyers Division, Mr. Longley was asked to join the Board of Directors of the Savannah Bar Association and now serves as President of that organization.
Mr. Longley earned his B.B.A. in Finance in 2004 from the University of Georgia. Following his undergraduate work, Mr. Longley continued his education and obtained his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the University of Georgia’s Moot Court team from 2007 to 2008 and graduated cum laude. He joined McCorkle, Johnson & McCoy shortly after completing his law degree in 2008. He is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Georgia and South Carolina.
Mr. Longley and his family are active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Savannah.
